I finished this book just before Christmas. It was I finished this book just before Christmas. It was really easy to read and very enjoyable.
I felt that the sway of this book was quite pro Richard, so I would be interested in reading one that isn't for a more balanced outlook. But based on the extensive historical evidence presented in the book, I am persuaded that Richard wasn't a Machiavellian king. There is too much apparent evidence which suggests that Shakespeare's rendering of Richard is inaccurate and extreme. I was also impressed by Richard's commitment to justice during his lifetime.
This was a well written book about an intriguing history mystery and an exciting archaeological discovery.
